whose restlessness at a drug giant motivated him to start his own
firm, Boston Scientific, a supplier of tools for minimally invasive
medical procedures. Today the company has grown to
over $6 billion in sales and 20,000 employees. It's biggest
deal ever, acquiring Guidant, occurred this year and is valued
at $27 billion. >
