Courses: Management 811: Entrepreneurship through Acquisition Bio: Robert J. Chalfin is an Attorney, Certified Public Accountant, and a Lecturer in Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He teaches a graduate-level course on acquiring closely held businesses to MBA candidates. Mr. Chalfin is an owner/investor, corporate board member, and consultant to several businesses. Mr. Chalfin is President of The Chalfin Group Inc., a Metuchen, New Jersey-based firm that provides strategic planning, valuation, and consulting services to entrepreneurial businesses, many in the information technology industry. This includes providing advisory services in connection with the purchase and sale of businesses. Bob is the author of the book Selling Your IT Business: Valuation, Finding the Right Buyer, and Negotiating the Deal, which is published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Mr. Chalfin has spoken at numerous industry conferences, has been cited in The Best Lawyers in America Directory of Experts as an expert in the area of business valuation, and is listed in New Jersey Super Lawyers. |
